Welcome to the Saint of Love by designer Luc De Maeght. Born out of meditation, this statue came into the world. A universal messenger, ready to connect the world with only one message: share love! Bring this new friend into your home, into the office, into the garden or simply give it a place in your life. This creation will become the symbol of unity, friendship and togetherness. With his arms raised high, he is ready to fulfil his purpose. Each Saint of Love statue is made by hand in Portugal with patience and love.

THE PROCESS

01. IDEA

Welcome the Saint of Love by artist, designer Luc De Maeght, a unique and special figurine made of ceramic and terracotta. With arms raised and radiating love, the Saint of Love connects people of all ages with and through love.

02. PRODUCTION

Did you know that the Saint of Love is produced in Alcobaça the city of love in Portugal, nothing is a coincidence. Like true pure love, each Saint of Love is unique due to the 100% artisanal and manual production process, each figurine receives a quality stamp with the initials of designer Luc De Maeght as well as a birth certificate.

The colored Saints of Love are all painted piece by piece up to 3 layers with the highest quality acrylic paint and coated with wax, the guarantee of color fastness.

03. Origin

Luc De Maeght's creative journey began at the world-renowned Arthur Findlay College in London, where he discovered the unique connection between meditation and art. This is where his mission was born: to bring happiness to people through, among other things, ceramic sculptures, the Saint of Love was born... A unique and special ceramic figurine, with raised arms radiating one and all love, the Saint of Love connects people of all ages with and through love.
